Do you like to quilt? Have you ever wanted to join a quilting bee? Join us for Sisters Sewing in Spirit on the 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoons at 3pm beginning October 12th.This quilting bee will be like no other. We all agree that we will have a ground–breaking presidential election upon us, either way our country will make history with the first women vice-president or the first African American president, we may not agree on who we want to win. However, no matter the side we're drawn, our faith challenges us to find common ground. Join us in a 4 session study of “Seeing Gray in a World of Black and White, Thoughts on Religion, Morality, and Politics,” beginning November 9th at 10:30. This study is designed to propose to people of faith a middle way between the left and the right and to model for our nation and for the church, how we can listen, learn, see truth as multi-sided, and love those with whom we disagree.
