Gratefully Serving Christ in Love
For some thirty years, our congregation has sent work teams totaling more than 1000 people to assist Mission at the Eastward (MATE) in an economically depressed area of Western Maine. The team includes building site workers and Vacation Bible school teachers. Projects range from painting to complete roof reconstructions.

In 2009, the VIM team numbered 51 people ranging in age from 14 to 65. The team completed 20 project sites during the week. In addition to construction work, 7 members of the team ran a Vacation Bible School for 20 youngsters from the area community. Most folks returning from the trip tell of life changing experiences while ministering to others. The program has significantly expanded our sense of Community, a Community which now extends from Central New Jersey to Western Maine.
The next mission trip is scheduled for July 24-31, 2010. For more information, contact Bill Reed or download an application below (Applications available April 2010).2010 VIM CALENDAR
