IHN Service Opportunity

Each year as part of a network of churches, Flemington Presbyterian hosts families in the Interfaith Hositality Network who need shelter. The goal of IHN is to have the clients placed in jobs and affordable housing within a 3-month period. While in the Network, they are offered a number of life enhancing activities while our church helps to provide a warm, hospitable environment in which to stay and receive three square meals a day.

Our remaining hosting dates for 2008 will be10/5/08 through 10/19/08 (Columbus Day is October 13). Prior to these hosting dates, we will ask for volunteers to sleep in the church with our overnight guests or to have dinner with the families. Monetary and food donations are also welcome to help support our guests while they are here.
