Gratefully Serving Christ in Love
It is the responsibility of this committee to oversee the total outreach mission of the church. Through a broad mission mission education program it strives to develop increased interest in, understanding of, and support for the Church's total mission program. It shall be concerned with the worldwide outreach of the Church and with the Church's response to the social issues, problems and needs of local community life.
It shall concern itself with "social action" programs and movements within the community, recommending to Session such actions as will lead to a proper Christian witness thereto. It shall cooperate with other committees in the development of programs for Christian social education. It shall review all request for support from outside agencies and with the approval of Session, direct disbursement of the Church mission contributions.

“However beautiful music, fine architecture, even eloquent preaching do not make the Church. It depends upon the spirit in the hearts of the people. It is truly said of the Church of Christ that it does not have a mission; it is a mission……perhaps the most reliable gauge of any church’s spirituality is not what it spends on itself but the proportion which it spends for others."
